Submunicipality Prince Alexander

The renovation of the office of the district of Prins Alexander includes office space spread over two floors and a council chamber with the work stations for the clerk's office. The office has room for 83 workstations. The organization works with permanent workplaces in a combination of open workplaces and a cell office. The main starting points for the design are more openness and transparency to improve communication. This is achieved by providing all gangways with glass and by using a wide street that leads to the central meeting place where the living room and the facilities are clustered.

The street with glass walls on both sides has black and white transparent photographs that ensure the privacy of the employees without losing visual contact with colleagues. The materialisation shows both business and atmosphere by using natural materials and a striking floor finish that gives a warm glow over the entire work floor.
