The new construction of IKC Vindingrijk in Maassluis can officially start. With the issued environmental permit and financial support from the Municipality of Maassluis, an important milestone has been reached. On Monday 14 July, the building contract will be signed by SIKO, BM van Houwelingen and BRI Groep. The first pile is expected to be driven in autumn.
IKC Vindingrijk is an integrated child centre where children aged 0 to 13 can learn, discover and grow in a playful manner. The school's educational vision is based on so-called Rijken. Development worlds in which children of different ages learn together at their own level. The new school building is fully in line with this vision.
The design actively involves the natural environment: outside is the new inside. The learning environment invites curiosity and movement and encourages children to learn in and with nature. This creates an open, light and green learning environment that focuses on development and connection.
An important link in Wilgenrijk
Besides the new school building, a child centre of KomKids Childcare will also be realised. Together, these buildings will form the future IKC Vindingrijk. The new building is an important step in the development of Eigengoed: a place in residential area Wilgenrijk where facilities come together that contribute to meaningful living together.
We are proud to contribute to a future-oriented educational environment where children, parents and teachers can feel at home.
