The number of agricultural companies in the Netherlands has been decreasing for years. Now there are already about 10,000 historic farms empty. Sometimes they are demolished, but often reused. The care farm is a popular solution, but there are also other possibilities. For example, Kraaijvanger has redesigned a monumental farm into the Secondary Childhood Center of the American School in The Hague.
