With four buildings from Rotterdam, Kraaijvanger is in the book 'Monuments from the reconstruction in the Netherlands 1940-1965': Stationspostgebouw (now a multi-company building), Amsterdamsche Bank / Incasso Bank (now Chamber of Commerce), Dominicus Church (Steigerkerk) and Concertgebouw De Doelen. They were designed by the brothers Evert and Herman Kraaijvanger, the founders of our agency. From the millions of buildings that were built in the Netherlands during this period, theNational Cultural Heritage Agency made a careful selection based on strict criteria. Almost two hundred buildings are in the book written by Dorine van Hoogstraten andBen de Vries.

Jet Bussemaker, Minister of Education, Culture and Science, writes in her foreword about the selected buildings: "Because of these milestones and paraphernalia of the reconstruction, now collected for the first time in this image-rich book, the layout of the Netherlands remains visible during this period. And with that, we keep our memories and our stories and we make history. " Author Ben de Vries adds: "If the selected buildings make one thing clear, then it is that there is no question of a clearly defined" reconstruction style. "Anyone who browses this book will agree that the diversity of architecture and the garden and landscape architecture is surprisingly large. " [...] "The fierce debate between the modernists and the traditionalists that had been raging before the war had not diminished after the war, despite all the fraternal study groups of architects that had come together during the war years." Some architects sought a rapprochement between the two groups. , a 'shake-hands-architecture'. " For example, the Kraaijvangers architecture was also a contemporary mix. They combined traditional façade structures and careful ornamentation with functional principles and modern materials. The book can be ordered fromNAiBooksellers from Rotterdam.
