Symposium Nature inclusive Design

07.02.2018

Kraaijvanger Architects has the Cradle to Cradle Philosophy (C2C) as a starting point in the design and development of sustainable innovation. Venlo city office is a tangible proof of this circular vision of the future. All suppliers are C2C certified, sometimes during the process.

Practical tips for more green and nature in the urban environment? On Tuesday, March 6, Hans Goverde will discuss the increasing demand for this. With inspiring examples of his nature-inclusive projects, both realized and in design, he gives design tips and underlines the importance of early collaboration between clients, designers and ecologists. With, among other things, the award winning Cradle2Cradle Stadskantoor Venlo, Goverde knows better than anyone how much intensive exchange and contact at an early stage of an assignment benefits the integrality of a design, and with it the quality, possibilities of use and cost-effectiveness.

Hans Goverde shows how Kraaijvanger Architects incorporates this experience into current and future green and circular design processes and how participants in his parallel session can apply his tips within other design processes. The symposium 'Nature-inclusive urban design as an interdisciplinary challenge' takes place in the Observant in Amersfoort and is organized by BNSP, Netwerk Groene Bureaus and NVTL.
