Maris College

The client asked for security, structure and the elementary necessity to complete a financial efficient building . This resulted in the three story high building, dividing the lower and upper grades by a collective middle area. The brick facade has the color of dunes. The window frames are designed systematically in a vertical direction. Large glass surfaces represent the collective spaces and entrance zones. Daylight gets through by a roof window lighting up the heart of the school. The roof is covered with mossedum vegetation. The schoolyard is orientated to the south and fenced off.
