Ecotopia

Ecotopia was designed as a zero energy building as early as 1994. In the educational pavilion school-children can explore environmental issues in a variety of spaces. The elongated facades are fully transparent, so as not to block the lake views. The elevated floor level and the moss-sedum roof allow the building to blend in with the surrounding green Plaswijck Park. Faceted glass panels line a corridor between the activity rooms and the exterior.
