Multifunctional centre Fascinatio

The Fascinatio multifunctional centre forms the heart of a new neighbourhood in Capelle aan den IJssel. The programme is a mix of a school and gym, a community centre, shops and housing. An important design theme is the sharing of facilities without loss of identity. The use of a limited range of materials is one of the elements ensuring a singular identity for the complex. The eight story apartment block, placed above the day-care centre, marks the end of the canal.
