City hall Boxmeer

Boxmeer’s new town hall is located next to the historic city centre and is surrounded by a mix of low-rise and larger historical buildings. The new building symbolizes an open book. The open end is divided into eleven segments that represent the eleven boroughs. The elevated building leaves room for a transparent and public lobby. Also visible from outside is the Councils Assembly Chamber on ground level, the heart of local politics and democracy.
