Are you looking for a place where you can use your experience (approx. 5 years) and responsibility as a talented interior designer architect to independently monitor the aesthetic, functional and sustainable quality of (several) inspiring projects? At Kraaijvanger Architects you do this externally and internally with enthusiastic international and broadly oriented design teams within a learning environment. Kraaijvanger offers you space and serious guidance in your own development.
With Stadskantoor Venlo we made our dream of a circular world come true. True beauty and a sophisticated play of design and light was recognised by the RIBA, the Dutch Daylight and other awards in our Museum Voorlinden. And in Hart van Zuid Rotterdam, we are working on the largest and most complex area development in the Netherlands. The intensive use of the first completed subproject Swimming Centre Rotterdam proves that these developments matter.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with an interest in designing, specifying and detailing public space, commercial space, educational space, cultural space and working environments. You are a conceptual thinker with a talent for design. Someone who can translate a concept into a spatial interior design, from outside to inside and from inside to outside, through all phases of a design process. You have aesthetic sensibility and are communicative. You are also able to manage other people.
Do you want to contribute critically to better and more beautiful environments?
As a conceptually strong, communicative and enterprising architect, you have a talent for recognising beauty. You are able to visualise architecture. From your natural critical attitude, you are able to analyse and solve complex issues. You know how to value and integrate input from external parties and advisors. Your responsibilities also include organising and leading workshops in order to actively empathise with the users of a building and to translate these into concrete proposals. And you are able to represent the interests of Kraaijvanger in cooperation with its partners and thereby contribute to more beautiful living environments.
Taking the initiative is rewarded
You can expect a handsome reward for this at Kraaijvanger Architects. You will receive from us on the basis of a 40-hour working week
- a gross monthly salary in accordance with your profile
- a training budget so that you can further specialise and develop yourself
- a bonus scheme
- a travel allowance
- 30 holiday days
- pension accrual
Are you a graduate in architecture and/or interior design from the academy of architecture, TU, art academy or similar and do you have at least 5 years of work experience? Strong conceptual, analytical, graphic and design talent? Experience in concept development through process-oriented design in all phases? Do you know Revit like the back of your hand and are you fluent in Dutch?
Do you have any questions about this position? Feel free to contact Bas Niese, managing partner at 06 - 51 15 47 87 or email@example.com. Then send your convincing motivation, CV and portfolio along.
What does the application procedure look like? During the first interview, you get to know Bas and Chantal Vos. Have we become even more enthusiastic? Then a second interview will follow to discuss the final points. You will also get the chance to talk to a (future) colleague. Who knows, we might soon be toasting to your new job!
