Transformation center Hoofddorp starts with SEM building by Kraaijvanger

Hoofddorp's Raadhuisplein is to undergo a transformation into an urban meeting place and green residential environment. An important place in the renewal of the square is for the residential building SEM, designed by Kraaijvanger Architects.

The central square of Hoofddorp is now a concrete parking lot. The realization of a building with a mixed program on this spot will give the city a "solid anchor point," Kraaijvanger Architects says. SEM will house 231 apartments, 1,400 m2 of commercial space and various catering establishments. There will also be 230 parking spaces.
