Kraaijvanger Architects welcome new partners Bas Niese and David Hess

Bas Niese and David Hess have been partners with Kraaijvanger since 1 September 2018. Bas as managing partner and David as an architect partner.

The appointment is in line with the future vision of Kraaijvanger: the architect as director of sustainability, beauty and human values ​​in this rapidly changing world. We see it as our role to investigate new techniques and new ways of working together and to turn them into beautiful, resilient cities and buildings. We invest in this future and see the expansion of our management with Bas and David as a next step.

Bas Niese

Bas knows innovative and sustainable collaborations within the construction industry like no other from his background as director PPS at Facilicom and experience at Brink. He will focus as a managing partner on Business Development, bringing together the office, market and partners, and ensuring that Kraaijvanger remains adaptive and proactive. Bas Niese: "I got to know Kraaijvanger as a desk with a rich history, an incredible potential and drive. The focus is on designing sustainable innovative solutions that make people happy. David Hess
After 10 years working at Kraaijvanger, starting as project architect, then as associate partner, David Hess will further strengthen his connection with the company as a partner. David has proven to be able to convert complex inner city assignments into sustainable innovative appealing architecture. In addition, he has set up new ways of working together and compacting with initiatives such as 360., the Hub and Contrast. Under the supervision of David, the designs forAHOY Convention Center and the VanGelder head office and Experience Center were established. "With great pleasure and pride, I deepen my relationship with the agency. I want to continue to contribute to the combination of quality and diversity in both our team, our approach and our projects ", says David Hess.
