BREEAM Excellent Rabobank Gouwestreek in use

On October 29, 2018, Rabobank took its new Gouwestreek branch at the Burgemeester Jamessingel in Gouda into use. The new highly sustainable multifunctional office replaces the existing Rabobank branches in the city.

Sustainable BREEAM Excellent design The design of Kraaijvanger, complies with Energy Label A and will soon officially receive the BREEAM Excellent certificate. Hans Goverde: "It is an extremely sustainable and transparent building that embodies the status of Rabobank, stable as a rock and transparent to the outside world." Literally, the theme is translated into the heart of the building where Rabobank receives and meets its customers and guests. . Kraaijvanger Architects collaborated with Dura Vermeer, IOB and BOAG in this project. With its new office, Rabobank wants to be a transparent, inviting and sustainable meeting place, in the heart of the region, the city and society.

In this new office, Rabobank customers can go for all their banking affairs. In the 'work café' on the meeting square on the ground floor, for example, civil society organizations can go for appointments or a meeting. The bank will also organize activities in the building such as online banking courses and knowledge meetings. On Saturday 8 December a.s. there is an opportunity to take a look at one of the most sustainable buildings of Gouda during the Festival Rabobank Open (t).
