After 50 years, the building on Hoogstraat, which was built in the 1950s by the Kraaijvanger brothers, is in need of extensive renovation. The interior no longer meets contemporary requirements and will need to be modernised to create a building that is effective as a retail space. The exterior will be renovated, during which operation the original transparency and fresh appearance of the municipal monument will be restored.
